Kyros Papavassiliou
Kyros Papavassiliou is a writer and director and was born in Cyprus in 1972. His short film In the name of the sparrow was selected at the Official Short Film Competition of the Cannes Film Festival 2007. His debut feature film Impressions of a Drowned Man had its world premiere at the Tiger Competition of the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2015. Next to filmmaking, Kyros also directs and writes devised theater performances. He has also published a collection of poems by the title Poneman.
