Visual Identity 2026

The Greek Film Festival in Berlin unveils the new key visual that will mark its upcoming 11th edition,
which will take place at the historic cinema Babylon in Berlin Mitte on March 25–29th, 2026.

The key visual depicts the profile of a double face; on the background, we can see its reflection.
However, this reflection is no shadow, but a bare reminder that we all “carry” many identities – or none, if we don’t want to.
This being of indefinite gender or origin is staring blankly into nothingness with a lit cigarette hanging from its fingers.
“Mustn’t” and “must”, “who”, “how”, “why” and “where from” have no place here.
In the freest city of Europe, this being does what it feels like doing. It is what it feels like being.
So, we follow its example and WE ARE WHAT WE FEEL.
We enjoy the freedom of our city. We make room for self-determination, conscious illusions and intuitions.
We abandon purity and clarity; we set sail for a life that supports feelings and at the same time awakens all senses.
Any mistakes, imperfections, losses or vulnerabilities are here, present, highlighting their absolute necessity through their beauty.

The photo was created by photographer Lefteris Koumaras. The model is Mitzucker Rae Samson.

The key visual was adapted and artistically developed by visual designer Konstantinos Kamperis.
