Yorgos Tsemberopoulos

Born in Athens, Yorgos Tsemberopoulos studied Economics at the Athens University of Economics & Business while working as a still photographer. Later on, he studied Directing at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, where he lived and worked until 1981. In Athens, in 1987, he founded Filmiki Productions SA, which has evolved into one of the best-known production companies in Greece, with production of commercial and corporate films, documentaries and feature films as its main activity. He is ex Board Member of the Greek Film Center and ex member of the Jury of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival.
