Visual Identity 2025

The Greek Film Festival in Berlin unveils the new key visual that will mark its upcoming 10th anniversary edition, which will take place at the historic cinema Babylon in Berlin Mitte on March 26–30th, 2025.

Central to the visual identity is a woman. We don’t know who she is, but we can see her dance – empowered and passionate, moving freely, like nothing around her matters. She dances zeibekiko on a bouzouki tune; a traditional, Greek dance that might be described as masculine. However, such things do not exist. All dances, all kinds of art, any human expression as a whole, can come from anyone and for anyone. The woman is surrounded by bright marquee lights, thus creating a sense of celebration and fun, of a space where concepts are scattered. Τo the foreground comes the full awakening of the senses, of joy; life itself.

“We are celebrating our 10th anniversary. Our visual identity for this year’s festival creates a sense of celebration, paying homage to Greek musical creation, to the stage decorated with marquee lights that has hosted people from all walks of life in Greece. With a contemporary, assertive, modern take on tradition and history, we are looking forward to welcoming our beloved audience in Berlin”, the organizers mentioned.

The key visual was created by visual designer Konstantinos Kamperis.

The full program of the festival’s films and events will be announced on February 4th.
