Asimina Proedrou
Born in 1982 in Athens, Greece. She studied music at the “Attic Conservatory” (piano degree in 2001), Economic Theory at the Athens University of Economics and Business (BA in 2005 and MSc in 2007) and Film Directing at the Athens New York College and Akmi Metropolitan College (Athens), in collaboration with Queen Margaret University (BA in 2013).
Asimina is the producer, screenwriter and director of the short film ‘RED HULK’, which was her graduation project at her film school, and has already won (among other awards) the Grand Prix, the Best Actor and the Cinematography Award at the International Short Film Festival in Drama 2013, the Best Short Film Award at the Athens International Film Festival 2013, the Best Short International Fiction Film Award at the Tirana International Film Festival (Albania), the Best Short Film Award at the Los Angeles (USA) Greek Film Festival 2014 and the Special Jury Prize at the Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival (Armenia). ‘RED HULK’ was also officially selected to participate in the international competition of the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (2014) as well as in more than sixty international film festivals.
Asimina is currently working on her ‘Master’s of Arts’ in Film Directing at Raindance (Staffordshire University), while writing the script for her debut feature script. She is an alumna of Berlinale Talents 2015, Sarajevo Talents 2015 and Berlinale Talents Script Station 2016 where she participated with her feature script.

Athina Rachel Tsaggari
Athina Rachel Tsangari’s sophomore feature Attenberg premièred in competition at the 2010 Venice Film Festival, where it won the Coppa Volpi Award for its lead, Ariane Labed, and went on to win several directing and best film awards at festivals worldwide. She is the co-founder of Haos Film, a filmmaker-run production company based in Athens. Among Haos’ producing credits are three films directed by Yorgos Lanthimos: “Kinetta”, “Dogtooth” as associate producer, and “Alps”. Tsangari’s medium-length film The Capsule, commissioned by the Deste Foundation for Contemporary Art, was part of Documenta13, and premiered at the 2012 Locarno IFF. She was a co-producer on Richard Linklater’s Before Midnight where she also appeared as an actor. For the 70thanniversary of the Venice IFF she contributed the science fiction short 24 Frames Per Century. Duncharon, her sci-fi comedy in development, was awarded the ARTE France Cinéma Award for best project at Rotterdam’s CineMart.
