The exceptional family saga spans two decades in the history of modern Greece and in the lives of the Saltafero sisters, Orsa and Moscha, their parents,
husbands and children. United and divided by a terrible secret, the two sisters spend their lives in love with the same man. It is a story of passion, family and
loss; it is a tribute to the seafaring men who leave their homes behind, as well  as the strong women who wait for them, and hold their worlds together: the
Penelopes of the island of Andros.
