Stratis Chatzielenoudas

was born in Athens in 1982. H studied painting in Athens and electrical engineering at the Technological Institute of Larissa. Since 2006 he has been working as an assistant director, casting director and director in cinema and television. He has directed documentaries, TV shows, commercials, music videos and short experimental and short fiction films.

A Hunger Artist’s Solo – by Olga Tzimou

The video is inspired by Franz Kafka’s “A Hunger Artist”.
It deals with the agony of existence, the space we live, the dissatisfaction of the individual and the vain search for perfection which leads to the rejection of the self.

Olga Tzimou

graduated from the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos and participated in several painting and sculpture workshops.

Bus 43 – von Alexis Lazaridis

Greece 2015, 16′, Greek with English subtitles

The film deals with the story of a wealthy man who incidentally makes a “journey” with the public bus, where he encounters moments of his life that have marked his past. More specifically, he starts interacting with the bus passengers, who are reminiscent of his past at the most crucial periods of his life. Ηis closest passenger is an old ragamuffin, who operates as a deus ex machine, by giving him advices and holding a different attitude than usual. The ragamuffin releases this man from the oppression.

Alexis Lazaridis

was born in Katerini/Pieria in 1991. He studied at the Audio-Visual Arts Department of the Ionian University and realized many projects, such as music videos, viral videos and commercials.

Between Black and White – by Socrates Alafouzos

The hero embarks on an inner journey to find his suppressed childhood self. Memory guides him to observe selected scenes from his boyhood while his subconscious protects him from the stark, black and white reality by presenting the past in richly colored dream-like sequences. Α journey of self-discovery, forgiveness and self-acceptance that leads back to life.

Socrates Alafouzos

is an award-winning Greek actor, writer and director. He has studied theater, film and photography. He continued his studies in acting and directing on a Fulbright scholarship in the US. In 2012, he made his debut as a screenwriter and director with the short film “Little King”. The film participated in many festivals around the world and received ten awards. In 2015, he wrote and directed his second short film, “Between Black and White” and he is currently working on his first feature film. Filmmaking is now the primary focus of his career.

Kirineos Papadimatos

was born in 1967 in Athens. He graduated from the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos in 1990 and is working as a film director and editor for Greek cinema and TV. He also directed several music videos.

Giannis Avramopoulos

was born in 1991 in Patra. He is currently studying through a scholarship at the Directors School of “AKMI”. Paolo’s Dream is his first film.
