People living in the small Greek island of Amorgos work hard and enjoy life in their own unique way. Captain Constantis and Leonidas the shepherd have lived all their lives in this remote island and yet they do not know each other. Their everyday life is defined by a common goal: reading the signs of the sky. They carry centuries of knowledge predicting the weather. The signs of the sky, winds, stars, clouds and the sea whisper to the islanders. The eternal circle of life, the sequence of seasons, the cycle of birth and death is a constant reminder of the simple beauty that surrounds us all; every day is never the same as the next.
